Thank you for the comments! I wanted the focus to be moreso on the immortality itself along with Twilight's handling of it, and less so the links to the sun and moon. It might have been a little difficult to write and somewhat weak in the end, but I like to imagine they handled the sun and moon for so long, that they became immortal, even if their overall magic power grew weaker over time. It'd be like if Krillin wished for immortality with the Dragonballs and kept playing pranks on Freeza.

Beautiful story, the concept of eternity is frightening and you do a wonderful job with capturing that sense of wonder but at the same time dread. I cannot honestly say I haven't wondered about immortality for myself once in a while, but at the end of the day I always come to the same conclusion, it would be fun for a while, seeing the new technology, have endless time to see the world and not worry that I'll die before completing my bucket list, and so forth, at the end of the day it wouldn't be worth it if I couldn't share it with others.
