Flutterbreeze here. Its probably about time I say a few words on this story. First, I hope the pace is alright. I think it may have started a wee bit slow due to my lack of knowledge about what I was writing from the beginning, but its up to the readers to decide. Some of the things that happen in my stories don't always develop intentionally (like the subtle Princess Bride reference that came from me saying "as you wish" once... went on from there.)
I've tried to put a lot of thought into this story, and even a little research, such as searching for a character to act as a villain that didn't come entirely out of my imagination. Flying lizard guys, my idea. Xolotl, ancient Aztec myth.
Its interesting to see how the style/tone of the piece has changed since the beginning. The remaining chapters will return to a more serious tone I think...
The way I'm writing this, it seems like more stories will be necessary. Don't want to throw in any spoilers about how this one will end though.
