yes, that was a little surprising. regardless i am hooked and am looking forward to whatever happens next.
This was... an interesting read. In some way.
If you allow me... there are a few tips I can give you on the way:
1. Get an editor. Best case scenario: find one who also does proofreading. But please, get one. Any interesting story can be ruined if spelling mistakes slow the reading flow down.
2. Don't rush. Take as many words as you need to describe a scene. To build up setting, characters, atmosphere, emotions and all of that. This story basically rushed through what could have been an interesting character interaction, just to get to the juicy part: the climax. Don't do that.
3. Read this. And then this. Trust me, those guides can help everyone from beginner to the advanced writer.
And 4. Keep going. Writing is more craft than talent. It can be learned, it can be improved and refined. Keep going, because you certainly have the creativity it needs. If you can muster enough patience and perseverance now, then I'm sure this will one day turn into a pretty neat story. It certainly has the potential.
