Pretty much. Spike is a little young still in this one, Rarity has her career to think of and doesnt mind adopting (element of generosity and all) Fluttershy wouldnt mind adopting either but more or less thinks of her furry freinds as kids, RD does not want kids ever (would slow her down too much) Pinkie Pie wants kids eventually but also has no qualms with adopting, and Trixie does not want kids ever and as a lesbian, the whole potentially being exposed to powerful magic and rendered infertile is kind of moot.

Took me some time to finally find the time to read the story, but I finally did it.
And it was a good story!
No one is remembering our poor background pony. Good to see she finally got some love.
Velvet's comments were quite good, and she got well-deserved payback in the end.
I wonder why Twilight wanted such an egg from Chrysalis, though. Just something for science or is a normal foal not enough for her?
But mostly I'm wondering how Chrysalis fits into this whole story.
As far as I understood she was captured and tamed/brainwashed/something(?) by Twilight and replaced by another drone.
At first it seemed she was under control, then it was hinted she knew about that and was working on an escape plan and in the end it was suggested Twilight was aware of that, even allowing her to do so. So what is actually happening? (And will she break out later?)
Or am I overthinking again? I mean, at the end it is only a clop story.

Clop or not I always overthink things as well :P. Twi got the egg part she wants a baby too part she wants to figure out if changelings can be nurtured in a better enviroment and still turn into jerks. Classic nature vs nurture experiment.
Twi learned how to do the changeling brainwash thing and did it on crysy but she is a queen and cant be easily controlled she also has to be given a measure of thinking shes in control or it would break the illusion. She might eventually escape or she might realize that being the ponies love machine ends up giving her a ton of love in the end and just submit.
I kind of wish this would get both a prequel and a sequel:
A prequel to show how they managed to get control of Chrysalis, and a sequel where Sunburst comes to Ponyville to help Starlight raise the foals.
