I didn't notice any typos, although I would change "larger destiny" to "greater destiny". Everything seemed a bit rushed, but overall it wasn't bad at all.

I'm impressed. This story is rather straight forward but with some level of mystery of what's going on for Quill and his fellow dragon hatchers being the only students to pass the small selective entrance exam.
