Chapter 2 – Planning

*Twilight’s POV*

As you sit down with Amber, you try to formulate a plan to save Cam without having his father destroy the entire planet.

“How about we try to trick them into thinking we surrender and when we get inside, we attack and rescue Cam,” Amber says voicing her idea.

“And what if they don’t tell us his location and decide to kill us, or have Cam kill us after capturing us?” you ask after thinking over what could go wrong with that plan.

“Okay, good point,” Amber agrees.

“How about we wait until we have an opening to try and save Cam, until then; we wait and act like nothing is wrong,” you tell her.

“But we should try to get him back now,” Amber complains,

“And if we don’t wait we risk the lives of those living on this planet,” you tell her sternly.

“Okay, okay, your right, I should learn to at least wait, but I just hope that by waiting, we’re not putting Cam in any immediate danger,” she says reluctantly.

“We should tell the others of this plan after their done,” you tell her.

“Ya, we should,” she responds.
*Tia’s POV*

You and your sister are lying on the ground panting after the sparing match you two just had, “I didn’t think you had improved over the years in hoof to hoof combat,” you tell her,

“And I didn’t think you’d have learned to keep that attitude of yours in check when facing me,” Luna responds to you,

“Ya, ya, I know, but I just hope Twilight and Amber have come up with a plan to get Cam back,” you tell Luna,

“Us too,” she responds before sitting up, “I know this may be a little personal… but do you like Cam?” she asks,

“Yes, I like him because he’s a good friend and he helped you dodge a bullet… literally,” you tell her as you sit up as well,

“No… not in the friend sense, I mean in the like, like sort of sense,” she asks,

“… I have no comment,” you say turning your back to your sister,

“You actually love him?” she says in her sly tone,

“I do not!? Well… I do… but not in the way your thinking… but what you pulled in the pool a while ago… I just…” your sister looks at you with a sly look to try and make you talk, “FINE! I do love him, and I was hoping to be his first kiss but you kinda took it, I liked him after he yelled at the other’s when we were put in that barrier and to let us out,” you say with a massive blush across your face.

“I knew it, I knew it!” Luna says as she starts to jump up and down like a little filly after getting a new toy on Hearths-Warming.

“But tell any of the others or Cam himself, and I’ll send you back to the moon for at least a week,” you threaten her,

“You do know you can’t do that without the Elements, and since you’re not bonded to them anymore… you can’t send me TO THE MOON!” your sister says and yells the last part like it’s some sort of meme.

“I can still try though,” you tell her,

“Fine, fine, but I get to have him sleep with me first, and not in that way sister,” Luna tells you.

“Good. But I was thinking he be on guard duty for each of us, like Twilight for a week, me for a week, you for a week, and as extra guard duty with Cadence for a week to help improve his skills, that sort of work, don’t you think,” you ask her,

“Well… I think it’s a good idea… but I think it should be a week with Twilight and a week at the Empire, and then a whole month for both of us, don’t you think,” your sister asks in a sly tone,

“No, that would be rude to Twilight and Cadence, although I would like that, but we need to be fair to everyone,” you tell her.

You both then hear the door open; you both look at the door and see Amber looking at both of you, “What do you need?” you ask Amber,

“Twilight and I have finally thought of a plan, but I don’t think your gonna like it,” she says nervously,

“Okay, we’ll be up in just a minute,” you tell her,
*Luna’s POV*

“IS THAT SERIOUSLY OUR PLAN!?” you yell in frustration,

“Yes, and if you don’t agree with it; then you can risk the entire planet to try and save him,” Amber says in a threatening tone,

“While I do care about this planet, I care more about Cam’s wellbeing,” you tell them loudly,

“While I can agree with what your saying; I can’t let you go and get yourself captured or worse; killed,” Amber says sternly,

“I don’t care! Cam took a bullet for me… literally, and I want to pay him back by saving him,” you sombrely tell them,

“While I understand why you want to save him; think about what Cam would want, he would want you to save him and be alive afterwards, and the only way we’re gonna do that is if we patiently wait for an opening,” Amber tells you,

“… Fine… But I’m the one that’s going after him,” you tell them reluctantly,

“That was the plan anyways,” Amber tells you as she grins

“Good… What time is it?” you ask the rest of the group. You suddenly hear everyone’s stomach rumble signifying that it’s around dinner time. “Guess it’s dinner time by the sound of our stomachs,” you tell the group light heartedly,

“Ya, I say we get some food instead of making some, I know I can cook, but I’m no good at making dinners,” Amber embarrassedly admits,

“I agree, everyone?” you ask the group,

“Agreed,” everyone else says,

“Good, so… what are we getting?” you ask,
