(Storyline has been edited as going along) When Diamond Tiara was a foal, her mother left due to her father's wealth and stinginess. When she's a filly, she finds out the hard way. Silver Spoon is forced to move to Canterlot and her father abandons her one night and needs refuge. She is taken in by Fluttershy, who reminds her of her mother. Then she is properly introduced to the rest of the Mane 6. Will she make up with the Crusaders? Will her future ever be fixed?

A sad story. I really like how Diamond is struggling with wanting to apologize to Applebloom and knowing that it's not enough. I did sympathize with her when you showed her feelings at the usurping of her own party. It was even a little sad when she left and nopony noticed.
Gonna watch this, and I look forward to the next part.

A sweet end to a cute story. It's great that Diamond now has made peace with the CMC, and she now has a home. I was expecting this to be somewhat longer, and for her to spend more time with Fluttershy. I guess I think the CMC forgave her a little too quickly, but they are nice fillies so it makes sense.
Anyway, this is a really cute story, and I'm glad I found it.
Very well written. It's rare that I feel emotion during a fanfic, but you did it.

If i can nitpick, or rather question, what conflict did they have that caused forgettable pony number one to run away from Filthy's wealth?
Is there even a conflict at all? Yes, Glitter ran away, but there's no explanation. There's no conflict to their unannounced divorce! I feel a bit cheated as I am a huge drama geek.
