Nope. Bloodborne is Fromsoft's work. So gameplay mechanics are similar to dark souls.
8334912 Nope, Bloodrayne is a vampire game, Bloodborne is pretty much like Darksouls but with eldritch beings, werewolves and abominations running around while you kill them all.
Pretty much you was just some average nobody who went to a city that was currently undergoing a purge of lycanthrope outbreak that routinely happens and then you sign a contract to get a bit of special blood injected into you and whether you get killed by the first enemy or make it to a lantern you then become a hunter to kill everything that has been infected by the bad blood. You find some pretty fucked up truth about where the blood came from, and at the end you either get killed for only to wake up from a sleep, you stay in the fucked up world, or you do something special and become an old god which is a strange worm thing. In all its a great game but some people who made Let's Play videos for it suck ass.

Hmm... a few things seem awkwardly phrased, but it isn't too much of an issue. Really I'm eager to see what kind of threats our good hunter will face in Equestria.
Also, does she still have the ability to "respawn" from the Hunters' Dream? Some of the old hunters in Bloodborne imply that once a hunter no longer dreams, their next death is final: like "I should think that you still have dreams. The next time you dream, give some thought to the hunt, and its purpose." from Djura if he kills you, and "No more dreams for me. This is my last chance." From Eileen when you find her injured and dying.
