Classic black and white "Twilight Zone" for me all the way. None of the newer attempts that I've seen capture the way the original twisted the viewers expectations and biases for maximum gut-wrenching despair.

Sterling Rod, obviously. I can't claim the credit for that reversal, either. Someone else ponified him in this same Writeoff round. As I recall, he was Silver Spoon's weird uncle who slipped into narrator mode at the slightest provocation.
