You seem to be switching between “ ” and « » a few times in the middle of the story.

some spelling and grammar mistakes were made... I think ^^
the idea of this story is not bad, but something is missing and I don't know what.
But I still give you this upvote. Because I like foalcon and seeing Twilight struggling with the same urge but in a world where she got real problems with that, is something interesting and new ^^

For your first story it's really impressive.
I do think this is not the end. They just need a day apart to let it settle. Twilight is very persistent and she is not the type to mope about it in her room. She will likely talk to Fluttershy about this.
