Well, yes, actually. It was quite... indulgent. Kind of enters the realm of metaphysics. Tirek seems to represent some caricature of an oppressive, tyrannical dictator, and him being crushed under Twilight's burgeoning ass while all of Equestria lends their strength to her is cathartic.
