Neoarcad

It is a beautiful day at the Red Pony and continual soiree.

E

Saving the world doesn't excuse you from paperwork, as it turns out. The Equestrian Revenue Service doesn't care how loyal you are, or whether you're friends with a Princess and a member of the Wonderbolts. And even though surprisingly few lunar banishments result from unpaid taxes, nopony wants to have their cloud house repossessed.

...turning the color blue into ducks...

:rainbowlaugh:

So Rainbow is self-employed in this, rather than the Wonderbolts or the Weather Pony Agency (?) having their own tax ponies in their payroll department?

Good story, I was all set for it to be about finding the humour in dull tasks as it was at the beginning, and then you mixed it up with Starlight which gave some kick.

I think this deserves the [random] tag. Funny as hell, though. :rainbowlaugh:

Oh man, this gave me a chuckle. Good job, have a :moustache:.

I laughed hysterically twice before I read this, first at the title and then at Chapter 11.

...turning the color blue into ducks...

Just fantastic.

Could have been worse
I remember the comic strip Pogo, one of the characters was telling the other that he is ignoring millions in deductions
"Look at this '...having a deceased spouse gains the benefit of a joint return for the fiscal year"
"What does that even mean?"
"If you marry a dead woman, you get (fiscal year x standard deduction = $) off the top of your taxes. Quite a savings"

Feels like Scoots had been dropping major hints about that adoption deduction. :scootangel:

Dat chapter title.

Who made the picture?

Ponyville, that esoteric hamlet, was a bipolar place

This opening statement. Full of so much win. lol!
This one-shot deserves a bunch more views...

Chapter 11 huh?

I see what you did there :rainbowlaugh:
