good concepts, and if the prose and pacing got a good tweak it would be much more engaging. Seeing the formula; bad stuff in forest+ writer forces character into bad forest= very stale. There's little to no hook to keep me reading. I know each character is going into the forest, and each is going to be changed.

I was interested in reading this until I noticed that each "paragraph" in the description is one sentence... They're also missing a lot of commas and are least one spot that should have a period just doesn't.
Mares is even capitalized, signifying a period.
I'm sorry, but if the description is this bad, I'm not sure I want to read the actual story.
7992222 yes, they do so far all take place in the forest all drawn their and originally I had them all going their however, and you have also enforced this, I'm currently thinking of a new place for them to be corrupted, besides Fluttershy's group in the Crystal Empire the rest are in the Everfree Forest.
And of course it would be boring to solely focus in one area at a time, I always planned that latter on some ( if not all ) would move away form the setting's of the Prologue. Please be patience as the story moves forward slightly faster as we catch up with the current time.
After all this all took place Six months ago. (Prologue wise.)

I actually half expected changelings to be lergely unaffected by this new/old dark magic. I do not hate the fact that they can be turned. This is your story/world show us this world as it exists for you the writer.
