I've run into the prejudice against singles, and I'm too socially awkward to ask anyone to come with. I have trouble making friends, and I don't want to risk losing the few I have by broaching the subject of nudism.

I don't know where you're from, but around here, the "nudity is always sexual" mindset is prevalent, and the only reason people can conceive of that a group would be nude together is for an orgy. Which is what most people have against the naturist community.
Or maybe you were hoping this universe wouldn't be like real-life Earth. I'm just guessing, can't read minds.

This whole chapter makes me want to scream at them for how careless they are being as if it wasn't risky enough for Flutter going over to Emerald's place the other night where I was totally expecting her mother to notice in the morning because she actually checked in on her without her knowing because she was always asleep.
I'm really missing an explanation for how Flutter's parents are so cool with nudism now when she said that they used to tell her to put on clothes when she was younger and they're just now getting into it themselves so it can't be that they got into it in between and never brought it up with her.
