Love how this chapter was written. This actually feels like a real-life reaction, and the change in Fluttershy's character when she isn't nervous as per her nature is definitely feasible over two plus years, so this chapter goes down as one of the better ones in my book. Thus far, anyway.

Yeah, coming back to this chapter, this PERFECTLY fits reality. This type of shyness and unsureness is exactly how I felt when I met my girlfriend in person for the first time, where you feel unsure and uneasy but by the end you're comfortable with one another because one of you decided to take that first step.
