Scoots has a dream to fly. She wishes on her birthday for the ability to fly. But this wish comes as a pony from the past shows up from the either of time and space itself to give her the training to fly.
A story from someone who lives with a disability and has learned to soar because of help from another.
This story is a one shot enjoy.
Enjoy the read folks. I hope you give kind respectful post and be a respectful critic.
After reading this again, I'm privileged to have edited this work for you... The emotion near the end of the story reaches to the reader (my opinion anyway.) I hope your friend remains strong... Even when the times get dark...because there will always be light at the end of the tunnel, you just need to push to get there... It will be a rough and bumpy road but it will always be worth it in the end...
Beautiful. Liked and followed.

Being a person that lives with a disability most never really understand how to live with one. They try to understand how. So the best way is to write a story to explain how one feels when they're coddled by people.

I know that feel.
This has a nice message of hope to it.

For someone who has been through this yes it does.
I have a neighbor who has post polio syndrome, he has not walked in years, no matter how much we offer help he turns us down. He grew up in a farm in illinois, and is seemingly too stubborn to ask for help, literally waiting until a 20 minute phone conversation was done before he told us that he could not get off the floor. It is hard because I care about him, and so does my mom and pretty much everyone in the entire neighborhood, but no matter what he refuses help. and it hurts him and us.

Yeah, that is sadly something you will run into. Lucky for me I had help with my problems. I was younger so people did everything they could get my motor skills back.
