The Picnic

The next morning the girls meetup for their weekly picnic outside town. the first ones there are twilight and spike to set everything up nice and perfectly. Spike laid down a tray of cupcakes and turned to twilight.

"Hey Twi?" he asked

"What is is?"

"Do you think im good looking?"

Twilight smiled "Oh Spike, you are the cutest, of course you are."

Spike didn't respond.

"Spike? Are you okay?"

"No, Twilight, I'm not."

Twilight reaches out for spike and hugs him

"Spike you know you can tell me everything. So whats the problem."

Spike pulls out of Twilights hug.

"When I went for a walk yesterday, I followed the one colt who you were staring down at lunch yesterday."

Twilight pulls back in embaressment.

"Oh, hehe, you saw that?

"Yeah I did, and its perfectly normal."

Twilight smiles akwardly.

"Anyways, he stoped in at Rarity's boutique and I watched her fall madly in love with him. How could she forget about me so quickly!? Spike eyes started watering

"WHAT?!?!" Twilight screamed knocking spike down in shock.

"Who the hay is screaming over here?" Applejack shouts as she and the others come out from over the crest of the hill.

Twilight picks up spike and looks him dead in the eye. "Not a word about this to the others." she whispers softly.

The seven sit down for an early lunch and catch up from the previous day.

"So Fluttershy, anything exiting happen yesterday?" Rarity asks

"Well ... uh ... actually something did hapen yesterday."

Rainbow Dash expecting another "riviting" tale about the flying squirels takes a sip of water.

"I met the stallion of my dreams yesterday."

The group gasps, and Rainbow Dash spits out her water towards Rarity.

"Gah! My hair!"

"Oh! My! GOSH!! Fluttershy! Has a BOYFRIEND!?!? Rainbow Dash screams

Fluttershy blushes "Well ... hes not actually my boyfriend, I just got lost in his glowing brown eyes. He has beautiful brown hair, and a gourgeous dark orange compexion."

"Wait, hold your story there sugarcube." Applejack exclaims "That sounds an aweful like the fellow I fell in ... uh ... I mean met yesterday."

"That also sounds like the fine fellow that came into the boutique yesterday." Rarity says wringing the water from her hair.

"I met a ... nice guy like that at the cafe, yesterday." Twilight adds

"My party would be a bust if it wasnt for that beautiful ... uh ... MP3 your crush had." Pinkie says

"Wait that sounds like my boyfriend!" Rainbow Dash says in an obviously un truthful tone.

"Well I guess hes new in town." Spike adds

"I guess I better get going now" Twilight says

They rest of the group says goodbye to eachother and headed in opposite directions.

"Oh no, the rest of the girls already know about him. What should I do" Twilight thinks to herself

Later that morning Silver gets the mail and notices more mail than usual. Six letters with no return adresses and a letter he has been dreading for awhile. He goes back to his apartment and reads the unmarked letters first. They all say meet me tommorow, but at different locations. He decides to clear his schedule tommorow, and see what these anonymous people want. But that isnt what he is worried about the letter he doesn't want to open is from the Manehattan Memorial Hospital. He exhales preparing for bad news.

June 30, 2012

Dear Mr. Sceptere,

We are sorry to inform you that after one year of struggle, your parents, Rose (Petal) Sceptere and Golden Sceptere, have both passed away at 6:31 PM and 7:01 PM (Eastern Equestrian Time) on June 30, 2012. Cause of death is known as heart failure. The wounds were too large to heal on their own and as a result causing the depressureasation of the blood vessels. We have done everything in our power to, help but in the end it just was not enough.

Silver drops to his knees and drops the paper and begins to sob.

He wasn't even there.

He never got to say goodbye.

He will never see them again.

Silver drops all the way to the floor. The pain was too much too handle. He can't stop but go back to that fateful day, sitting on the edge of the water, looking towards the city, right before the infamous Manehattan explosion that Celestia and the Equestrian Council have kept from the public ever since that fateful day...

PS: Next chapter he calms his emotions and decides to meet the "Anonymous Ponies" It will be a bit funny cause they will be a little obvious with their feelings and Silver will notice it. ALOT. He will tell the girls he's not intrested but wants to be friends , but they will only think hes playing hard to get.

From one writer to others, I think the only reason my story got better is because i started writing outside. in my favorite tree. someplace were you can think without having any difficulties, can be rewarding if you let the creative juices flow. just about as creative as derpy here.
