Do you really think it is a good Idea to write a Sequel for a story which was Bad ?
Try to write easier things first, before you try to write a Multi instance story.
Dont try to create Special Snowflakes or some crazy strong villains.
Dont try to write story's about multiple character, begin small write one-shots try to gather experience in wrtiting and look for good critique how to improve your story's.
And finally try to write easier premise if you are not yet good enough.
Do that maybe in the future when you have experience and are confident in your writing.

Why is this story rated m?
7640285 Just as a precaution. Some of what I put in the other chapters sound a bit explicit to be rated T, so rating it mature is a bit safer for me. And I'm not intending this story to feature any sexual acts described in full detail, just some intimate moments without going into them deeply. Also, with the story before this being a bit deadly if you've read it before this one, which I do recommend to understand the characters, there may be some grim moments, but only in dreams, so that don't necessarily warrant a gore tag as well. At least I hope it doesn't.

I've put this series on hiatus, which I should have changed its status to. I've been so busy working on other stories that I haven't come up with other ideas to continue this story. Maybe a little writer's block, but I have been trying to figure out how many more childlike moments I can come up with for Emerald that's entertaining. And maybe filled with cuteness before she becomes an adolescent teenager who gives her father more trouble. 
I've been on a writing binge with my other stories, especially my most popular one I've worked on for the last few years, but I'll try to get another chapter for this story up if there's anything I can come up with.

Well, considering how the EG universe has people who similar to their pony counterparts, things would be a little bit different on that side of the mirror compared to the pony world, like certain livelihoods, maybe careers. Children, even. We'll cross that bridge when I get up to a chapter with Sunset, and maybe a trip to the EG world.

...I never thought of them in this story since this was made before...season 6, I believe...Maybe I will include them, though because this was before the changelings' reformation and changing into what they are now, all the changelings in this story are stuck as their old forms, which means Ocellus is going to be like one of them, too...At least I have an idea for another chapter now that you brought that up. Thanks!

Do natural hippogriffs exist in your world or just the ones conceived with the spell?

I actually don't know. I began writing this story long before we were introduced to the hippogriffs in the movie. Although, with the legend revolved around such a spell, I might still include the hippogriffs despite the world summit featuring every kingdom, though being vague with what other creatures exist beyond Equestria aside from what's been seen in previous seasons prior to writing this.
I've also been lacking in writing anything for the last couple months. Procrastination is one reason, and life and work mentally exhausting me when I have to deal with troublesome customers in the middle of the night and cleaning up everything the last shift neglected to clean. I keep needing to mentally unwind and get away from the real world, but writing is starting to feel like a chore, and I want to keep writing.

I want to tell you that I had a great time reading this sequel of Solaris, Trill and Emerald just living there lives with almost no major conflicts.
