The Empty Meadow

I woke up in the meadow with tears in m eyes for I had lost both friends for good but knew they need to go. On the ground next to me was a book. It was Titled the meadow it had pictures of the meadow and pictures of the plants and animals pictures of him and his friend and near the end of the book was the words"To a good friend and thank you for being there for us." With that I closed the books wiped the tears from my eyes and walked home. Leaving the empty meadow and as I looked back for the last time I seen my friends waving goodbye and then they vanished.

I was on my way home when I heard a noise and next thing I know I am back at the meadow and I had seen my two friends waiting for me to take their hooves and go toward the forest. As I grabbed their hooves I was not scared but felt comfort when we where at last together. My death was painless and quick my heart had stopped due to the stress built up and I had died before making it home but for now as I entered the woods and crossed over with my friends I knew that the meadow was now truly empty. The end
