Not having spoken to BB in a while, I can't speak for him or when pony.exe will update again. And Tsaukpaetra is right, this is a standalone story. I wouldn't presume to try and take over pony.exe, and certainly not without his permission. We're just two guys who admired each other's works and decided to pool our talents. Hopefully BB will be back sometime soon and he'll be pleased with the reception this story gets.

I am going to guess that turing has a fear of lack of control which is ironic (the sad kind) since she has hardwired protocols to follow her end user and set programming. Im guessing her big fear is killing or hurting something/one/pony without her control stemming from her attack on gadget and her takedown of grace and glory

Though they were deleted, she still worries about being taken over and controlled by them. Ordinarily she wouldn't be prone to such rash actions, but losing herself that way is her worst fear.

If you haven't read either of the source stories, consider this a brief introduction to both works. Pony.exe is more of a gradually unraveled mystery, while The Iron Horse is an episodic character-driven comedy/drama, if you care to read either. If not, then you can just enjoy this on its own.

Hypothesis:
Twilight Sparkle, during her stay at TechCon, made a brainscan. Through some magical mishap / interaction with Twilight's own magic / her status as Element-bearer, this created a sentient copy.
