I was expecting this to be just a one shot when i heard it being written, I'm glad to see that it might evolve into a longer story.
I'll echo Fourths in saying that this is an exciting concept you've got going here Nonchalant, and I look forward to seeing where you take it.
This was the only part that I raised a little bit of a skeptical eyebrow to. Don't get me wrong, the idea to connect Dash's interest in fashion to the Wonderbolts was brilliant. The issue I see is that the uniforms themselves are not exactly examples of fashion, they're examples of practicality and thus not exactly enough (in my opinion) to lead Dash down the idea of creating frilly dresses. Maybe aerodynamic outfits for Pegasi, but not quite feminine attire.

Decent explanation for how Rainbow got into enjoying fashion. It does seem surprisingly quick that she'd jump at the chance to be a model though, given her concerns about her image and being found out. I'd have figured she'd have modeled for Rarity in private a few times first before jumping before a more public setting (even if it's a private shoot with another pony).
I hope this shoot will go well for her, her confidence is pretty fragile right now and too big a mess up could be pretty detrimental to her embracing this side of herself.

I'm all for some good ol' fourths blamin' and raridash! I'm enjoying the juxtaposition of Rainbow's cool-image with, you know, fashion ... I realize this is a setup for ship fodder, but even so, it is disturbingly easy to accept a headcanon of secretly-fashionable Rainbow Dash, so this is good stuff (c.f. "Read it and Weep"). Re modeling, Rarity does have a point on self-confidence... for better or for worse
