Many years after the events of Nightmare Moon, Discord and Sombra, the next generation of ponies are given the chance to go on adventures and make Equestria their own. However, they will soon learn just like the ponies before them that those adventures aren’t always what they’re cracked up to be. The dreams of a young pony wanting to become a royal guard take a very sharp turn as he teams up with a very unlikely partner to stop something lurking in the shadows of Equestria.
