...why would Fluttershy forbid Discord to use his magic to save her? That makes no sense. She wouldn't forbid Twilight to do so... this needs more explanation. Also, if Discord is afraid for Fluttershy, not for himself, why would his first reaction be to freeze up and let her get attacked? Wouldn't his first reaction be to protect her? If there is someone you are afraid for in danger, your first reaction is generally to jump in the way of the danger or quickly pull them out of the danger, not to freeze and let them be attacked. That's your reaction if you fear for yourself.
