I thought that it would be impossible for a fic on this site to earn a purely negative review... I was both right and wrong.
This thing truly does deserve the 100% negative review it has received. But it's not a fic... it's a rant against humanity dressed up as a letter. Or possibly a troll...
To the author - Stop believing everything that's on the news. News companies report facts that they can sell. keyword - sell. The world that is painted by the likes of CNN and FOX is nothing like what's outside your door.
Interesting. I wasn't expecting this for my first fan fic.
Reason i wrote was to create a more realistic response if such an attempt were made by Us to her world. I see Celestia judging Us on everything. You see Equestrians are largely corruption free, their crime rate is low across the board. So with that i wanted to make it from her POV and how she would feel about us an outsider, Judging us as a race , Not individuals.
This isn't about Politics. Its about Celestia doing whats right for her ponies. And i hate to say it but: We humans are a violent species. Isn't just wars and whatnot, its how we treat each other as a people which isn't always good.
How would we treat the Equestrrians? *Sigh* I think it would largely depend on us. Yes, we Brones would treat them with respect. A lot of Non bronies too, but can you the same for everyone? Can you see Hate Groups like the KKK, Neo Nazis or Aryan Brotherhood welcoming them? What about our governments of the world?
This is Celestia's concern. And she has every right to be.
If you have ideas to make this better, i'm willing to listen.
But i'm not gonna listen to silly responses like: gramar plz,

And you know Celestia probably should send a similar letter to all our congressmen or at least the one who sit on their lazy butts and do nothing (I'm talking you to GOP) I guarntee that'll get their act together.
I find it fairly amusing that several people automatically assume Celestia is about Poltics, when its not.

gotta say...I kinda like this story, so a fav & like from me, but I think that you shouldn't have named the political party, you should have just said Mr.President and leave him unnamed (similar to most movies) maybe then the story wouldn't be considered a political ideal, but more of an author's ideal/view/perspective intertwined with the Characters personality and reasoning.
While this story does cross a few areas that are universally frowned upon, and has some really poor writing in parts, it really isn't all that bad.
