I liked the concept of your story. It gives us insight as to why the Princesses keep him around rather than tossing him right out of Canterlot. The technical aspects of the story are great. I did not see an error anywhere, which is something I would love to accomplish in my own writing. Using this version as an outline, I think you could expand this story into a multi-chapter tale without much trouble. You have a talent for making Bluebood not look like such a jerk. It would be interesting to see how you would redeem him in a story with a deeper and more nuance narrative.

I love stories where Blueblood is presented as actually competent and a good pony. As for his treatment of Rarity, SHE WAS being a gold digger. She only cared about him because he was a prince. If he were any other stallion, as apparently handsome as he is, she would have ignored him. Fancy Pants clearly thinks a lot of Rarity, but she doesn't care because, well, he isn't royalty, just a noble, and she's already besties with the Princess of Friendship. She just wanted to be a princess. I never blamed Blueblood for the way he acted at the gala, so I love stories where he's shown as a good guy and competent politician/unicorn.
This. I like this. You're the only person who will ever make me like Blueblood. (With exception to like, one other guy, but that's because they went full AU on him)
