i get a bit of a nazi vibe from the griffins. is that intended?

6959730 Somewhat. They are going to be similar in several regards, and intentionally so. However, their main focus is to be a pastiche of Caesar's Legion, only using a circa-WWI German Empire motif instead of a Roman Empire one.

The term "Kaiser" sounds phonetically similar to "Caesar" (if pronounced appropriately, as some do during New Vegas, ie: Kie-sar), and is, in fact, a descendant of that same term, as is the Russian "Czar" (or "Tsar", depending on which of the Slavic countries one is from/in). Both Kaiser and Czar/Tsar mean "Emperor" or something so similar as to make no difference.

Interestingly enough, in New Vegas, Caesar is apparently either bald or shaving his head, which is more than likely a tribute to Gaius Julius Caesar, who was known for his receding hairline, hence why all known busts of him appear either to have been buzz-cut, close-shaven, or just bald.

This is funny because "caesar" means something along the lines of "hairy".

Now...laugh. LAUGH I SAY!!!

No matter the quality of the story I really like the idea of having Griffins replace Ceasers Legion but instead having an early 20th century Germany theme rather than Ancient Rome.

6975470 Thank you! I was rather proud of that, myself...

No matter the quality of the story

What can I improve for you?
