Wow! This is a lot better than the summary made it seem. The narration is full of description and emotion, and you managed to write an animal who didn't understand everything without resorting to using cheesy nicknames for everything human-related. However, the actual action seems a bit blurred. They're in the final battle of Twilight Princess, then suddenly they're in the Sacred Realm...?

For still being on the edges of a town I can understand why the castle was mostly monster free, except for cursed Owlisious and Spike. Had it a few days to "stew" clearly more monsters would have snuck in. I liked some of the places the ponies would up that fit their personas. Rarity inside the lavish guest room she clearly decorated herself, Pinkie inside a book fort and Dash up in the rafters. Nightshade imprisoning the elements first does make sense, unlike Hyrule in Equestria the royals are legitimate threats. I don't see the ponies letting Epona continue alone Nightshade better hope his letter dungeons can challenge multiple heroes at once.

I haven't finished the chapter yet, but at one point you typo "gold" as "cold", and there's also one sentence randomly in present-tense.
