A Jinouga (of the Monster Hunter series), named Raiju, is chased from his homeland thousands of miles from Equestria after his king discovered him sabotaging their army and ordered his execution. After catching wind of this he makes his escape, and after weeks of running, and taking a serious blows, leaving him with a gaping wound and a broken foreleg. Continued running on his injuries leaves him with no other options, he began charging up a massive amount of electricity to teleport himself as far away as possible. He did not know where he was or where he was going, but he knew that it was his only choice. Now completely drained of energy he awaits his death, until he is saved by Twilight Sparkle. He begins his healing process in secrecy, until Princess Celestia catches wind of his existence in Equestria and orders his capture and execution. This execution fails and eventually the princess allows him to stay in Equestria for a while longer while he heals from his injuries.

for some reason i get the feeling that Raiju is going to end up fighting his brother at the end of this story

Thanks for the comments! I'm trying to update this every Saturday afternoon so I can keep it consistent for a while, but I'm slowly creeping up on the end of my stockpiled chapters. Life just keeps slowing me down.
@DamienSmith, Check out some vids on the series you might like it, I'm kinda making up a lot seeing as the monsters can't speak or have any structured society in fact...they are just what I said, monsters, IMO it's a fun and very underrated game. Story line is...well pretty much non-existent but that's the whole fun, the character you make IS the story and everything you do is rewarding, due in part to it's sheer difficulty in the later fights.

I only read the first few chapters, but there were a number of grammatical/spelling errors, poorly worded sentences and moments where the dialogue brings the ponies out of character (or what I would consider as such), especially for Celestia.
Its a very interesting concept that could go a long way if a number of the paragraphs were re-written to a higher standard.
Oh but it will be my little jinouga... It will be ever since you said that.
