Ha! you actually did it with the sisters walking in, although wasn't expecting Rose's reaction but it was still funny as hell glad it happened. Well that was a neat little one, and RD is up next? Cool. You ever thought about having these stories take place in the same universe? I know the one with Lyra and BonBon can't as in both you said there was only one human but if you did have a few share the same universe for longer ones it could be neat.
We'd get to see characters and pairings we don't get to see outside of main stories with them and also say RD is attracted to the new human and doesn't know what to do? She now has someone who is in a relationship with a human to talk to for instance but that's just an idea for another time. Plus also on the human side of things the human would also have another human who is in a relationship as well.
Well this sure wasn't a pleasureable surprise now was it?

Dude you never cease to amaze me. Just like The Chase, this story is easily in my top 5 and pure 10/10 home-run. The attention to detail in both stories makes everything feel so much more real; I can perfectly picture everything that goes on in them, and I love it. I'm kinda sad to see the end of the saga of Henry and Lily, but it was a great run while it lasted, and both stories are fucking phenomenal. Seriously great work dude.
As for the RD or Lighting Dust story will it be another humanxpony story? I really hope it is. Even if it isn't, I can't wait to read it. Also as much as I love RD, kind of hoping you go with Lightning Dust.
BTW I went back and read Lyra's confession, and to be honest while the writing is weaker, the story is still a memorable one and is by no means bad. Don't judge yourself too harshly man. You're an awesome writer dude.

I think the hard part about Rainbow stories is trying to keep her in character while making the romance believable. Likely because she will go out of her way to push that "mushy stuff" away so you need someone who can believably draw out that side of her. Anyone who can do that will easily fluster her.
A little disappointed you might not go with her next though. Your choice of course.
I liked the characterization you gave Lily which is why I read these two stories and Rainbow is first choice over any pony, but Lightning Dust is near the bottom of my "interested" list so I'll probably just wait a bit.

The only problem is... there are like a million stories with her... which sucks... it really turns me off from doing a story about her. I might still do one with her one day, but hardly anyone has done Lightning Dust and she is more or less the same as Rainbow. I'm going to spin her the best I can, and I hope you can enjoy her story when I post it, but if not, then I understand.

I'll consider reading it, but while Lightning and Rainbow may have similar personalities, the differences between the two are what make one of them appealing to me while the other lacks that appeal.
Still, I will look forward to a future Rainbow story. Honestly, she suffers from quantity over quality. Sure she has a lot of stories, but many of them aren't all that good so it's always fun finding one of those rare gems that are worth the wait.
