Bravo, bravo! I have to say out of the dozen or so vampire fics i have read on this site, this has to be one of my top 3. I adored how well you showed that even 'evil' beings still can regret or be unsure of their actions and the cuteness of Sunset and Sonata was just lovely to read. I honestly wish there was a little more follow-up if only so I'd have more to read but you ended it quite lovely so I shall leave you with my star of approval and an awesome thanks for a delightful read.

"Hmm, sounds interesting" - I thought after reading description, then, when I already clicked it, It finally came to me "Wait, it's written by that, THAT guy?! Noooo!" :rainbowlaugh:
Oh, It happened to be Sunata story, kinda dissapointed actually, and that they didn't came back to her and stuff.

I can't read right now but any story about the sirens by Daniel-Gleebits is going to be amazing. I'll look forward to when I can get to it.

Dear Celestia, more of this please. :pinkiegasp:

Did Sunset just turn Sonata into a vampire?

6596063 Eeyup

6595887 Umm... here?
If you're trying to insinuate something here, just say it.

6595760 My dear fellow, it's me. Sunata is what I frickin do.
Well, not all the time, obviously. But a lot of the time. I don't get what's disappointing about it to be honest.

6595632 Although the dichotomy of good and evil can do wonders for a story, it always seems to me to be more identifiable to show them being more like people.
And you're welcome. Glad that you enjoyed it

No-no, it nothing

Same cover picture as Sunlight by albinocorn +1 sin

Other than that, even with a pairing I'm not a fan at all, I must say it was pretty good. The word flow clearly and you are precise.

Only bummer is why the hell is she a vampire but, meh, isn't it alway's

6596574 I understand that this story has the same cover art as another, but to be honest I'm a little surprised more than one person has pointed it out. There're a lot of stories on here that have the same cover-art.
The other person seemed to imply that it was a problem or something.

6596667 Its the internet....people shit brick because you don't think like them, even though they will probably never meet you, ever....

So yeah, its a huge problem, but not one you need to care about

So, does this technicaly make Sunset a batpony? Loved this story and found happy ending to be pretty refreshing when it comes to your stories, even despite the fact that both main characters are dead in the end, kek.

I posted that at 1 AM while I had a headache.

Weird crap ensued.

6596929 Well you know, I gotta put ONE happy ending in there somewhere. Gives the sad endings more bite.

See what I did there? Vampire story? Bite? :trollestia::moustache::eeyup:

Very good story. Nice flow and excellent ending.

6601197 Glad that you enjoyed it

Thoughts before reading: the dazzlings are gonna get raped and drained

Thoughts after reading: awwww, how sweet!

I'm interested in seeing how the other two react when they find out their gems don't work

6614913 In my head it was going to be a sort of "Well what are they going to do about it? Two powerless teenagers against a pair of vampires."

Glad I could surprise you in this story though. I hope it wasn't disappointing

6617309 oh no it was a pleasant surprise! It was very enjoyable :pinkiehappy:

Vamprie Empress Sunset Shimmer and her mate, Vampire Princess Sonata Dusk, then went on to troll to fuck out of every vampire on the planet, and Sonata threw the other Dazzlings into a volcano as revenge, even though she couldn't care less about it at this point. The end.

Seriously though, this story is freaking awesome.

6662162 Well actually it was a tectonic fissure that Sonata threw them into, but other than that, you're right :trollestia:
Glad you liked the story

I would very much longer to see more of this.

If Sunset and Sonata were already at it, why did they bother with making Adagio and Aria "sell" her?

6769732 Because they didn't want Aria and Adagio to know what Sonata was doing, or about their relationship. It's implied that both she and Sunset disappear after the events of the story, so the entire ordeal is kept secret.

6770251
I see, thanks for explaining it further.
I was just assuming that well, Sonata could just vanish with Sunset. I mean, it's not like they seemed to care enough about her anyway. Their little regrets are satiated with some false hope of power.

However, well written. Enjoyed even with my question at the end!

A wonderfully beautiful, dark tale. I enjoyed reading it all the way though. It was cute and dark and sad and lighthearted. The mixture hard to pull off but I say you did very well. Thank you for writing it!

6883289 It was entirely my pleasure. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed reading it, and hope to furnish you with fresh sources of sad-sweet stories in the future

6883299 My Broken heart thanks you lol

6596667 I could be wrong but I think the picture was made specifically for Sunlight, like it was commissioned by the author or something. I can't remember.

Sunset lapped hungrily at the thin blue skin laid bare before her, her teeth barely grazing it once, twice, a third time. Then she plunged, her fangs piercing deep.

Was hard to find a good quality clip of that lol.

Definitely a better love story then Twilight.

6927946 I wasn't aware there was a specific pairing in mind for the image.

That's not a bad clip, but to be fair it's intrinsically a bad clip since it's never updated. You know, they like the oldy-type graphics and sound for nostalgia I suppose.

6927954 well most of the videos I found were recordings of a tv playing it or the entire commercial which was a minute longer than the part I needed. Still couldn't help but chuckle at that part.

Fantastic! Can't help feeling Adagio and Aria were a bit cheated, but great story!

Welp. Emotions are struck once again. This time I think I'll go for some whisky

This picture has certainly sparked some interesting fics! And I have to say, you scared me a bit there at the end, I thought something went wrong and Sonata was actually dead, rather than undead. Very... cute? story. Definitely a good read at least. I can almost imagining Adagio and Aria coming to their senses later, once they've recovered, and trying to get back at Sunset as vampire hunters.

8549813
I'm pleased again that you enjoyed reading.
It's difficult sometimes to find a single word that describes an experience, isn't it? Although, cute could suffice in a slightly twisted sense :raritywink:

8549861
Cute in a macabre sort of way.

:scootangel: <Kind of like dead Scootaloo here.

8549868
Ha! I'd never thought of that.

Got me wondering if Sonata hadn't known about the deal, genuinely becoming Sunset's slave. What woulda happened? Would it ultimately come to the same thing, or would Sonata be chained up in a cage, used as a food source and nothing more?

Wow, my mind can get dark...

Anyway, what if the other sirens end up seeing them in public? Sonata has to pretend she's fully under Sunset's will?
Okay, Imma stop before I start imagining Sonata being led around with a chain leash. This is what happens when I'm tired and read stuff like this.

9210615
That sounds fun. Imagining different endings. I rather think myself that Sunset and Sonata are going to move away, myself, so they can avoid that awkwardness.

9211236
I might write an alt ending to this, actually. Got the idea in my head, and now I want to get it down. Permission to copy and paste the first part sometime in the future?

9212206 Doesn't bother me, just send me a link so I can have a look.

I really loved this story. I always wish for a sequel, but yeah, just love it so much.

Vampire Sonata? I FUCKIN LOVE IT!
