Well, bad timing on my part. I caught this one literally right after I turned the light off to sleep. I like Green Arrow well enough, I am familiar with the show, and I do think Blueblood is an underutilized character. I'll be back for this one as soon as I am able.

I've seen stories where Blueblood is Equestria's equivalent to Batman (which I think would garner his aunt Luna's approval), but I must admit that Green Arrow is a much more fitting choice.
I have to ask though, will this be primarily influenced by the show or by the comics?
Hm, wonder how meeting Fancypants will go. Regardless of what he and Fleur's relationship was (Siblings, lovers), they seemed pretty close.

This was influenced by both the comics and the show to an extent.
I was reading the comics one day and I thought, "There's gotta be some fanfiction on Green Arrow somewhere." I looked for quite a while and found next to none. This disappointed me because the Green Arrow is my favorite superhero next to Thor. So, I thought why not make my own fanfiction? So, I spent a few days studying the comics to get an idea of what I wanted to do.
The show inspired me because I couldn't help but think of how Blueblood and Oliver Queen (before the island) acted so similarly to each other. So, I chose to base the story of that. That and I feel that Blueblood is a severely underutilized character.

This is really good, the writing with very smooth. Everytime I think that this is just going to be a retelling of Arrow you throw in nice little subtle differences. So far there aren't really any complaints to express, other than my hope that this isn't just a retelling of Arrow, but there are enough differences at play to establish this as a Universe unto itself so keep that up and I think you'll be fine.

Thank you very much! And I really want to make this my own universe with some subtle callbacks to the original show and comics. Maybe these first few chapters will resemble the show in some ways, but after everything is established I'd like to diverge off into something of my own design.

warning this comment contains spoilers to "Arrow", only read after watching the entire series(or at least the season 4 final episode because i believe that it is the final episode). if cadence is blueblood's sister that means she's actually his half sister, her father is their enemy, she'll become the second red arrow(speedy), at some point her father drug her to kill the first black canary, and at some point the leader of the league of assassins (raz al' ghul) killed her to get the emerald archer to become the new raz al' ghul and then revived using the lazarus pit but at a price of a blood lust, but then being cured of it some time in the future. if fleur de lis was on the ship that means she's the Sara Lance (aka former black canary, former member of the league of assassins, member of rip hunter's time traveling team, the white canary) that means she will fall in love with the daughter of raz al' ghul, soon be killed by a hypnotized speedy, brought back to life by the lazarus pit, but due being so long after her death, her blood lust was more extreme(because it was so long since she died her body was revived without a soul), green arrow then gets a friend he met on the island to give her back her soul, but she still had her blood lust, so she then left and eventually joined a time traveling team to stop an immortal tyrant from taking over the world. if rarity is the Laurel Lance, aka the black canary, then at some she'll look up to the green arrow, than think he's a criminal, then thinks he's good again, then becomes the black canary, and then... no... no no no... at some point near the finale, she, will, be, killed... during a prison break, so this means rarity is destined to die

judging from the character tags, (warning spoilers to arrow) twilight is going to be Felicity Smoak, she will join team arrow when someone goes missing (in the show it was Felicity's boss, then at some point she'll become the temporary love interest of Barry Allen before he became the flash, then again with the A.T.O.M., after the A.T.O.M. is presumed dead (even though he didn't die, but got shrunk) she became the love interest of the green arrow, after she became CEO of Palmer Tech (formerly known as Queen Consolidated) a meta human called Double Down tracked because she was tracking him, she fled to the underground Arrow Base, along with a her friend who naturally asked "since when were you such a badass?" she naturally replied "I've been working for the Green Arrow", after the green arrow propose to her and she said yes they will be attacked and she will loss the ability to walk, then things got worst when her dad came back with the evil villain name of the Calculator (who is known by every government in the world as the greatest and most dangerous hacker in the world) and mind controlled the former Red Arrow (Arsenal), team arrow stopped his plans but he still escaped, then the friend she saved built the "Miracle Chip", a chip that when implanted to her spine will allow her to walk again, this catches the eye of Brie Larvan, A.K.A. The Bug-Eyed Bandit, she hacks the prison security so she would be freed instead of breaking out, and as fate would have it, Brie Larvan found out that Overwatch (Felicity now goes by the code name Overwatch) was the same hacker that put her into prison, she said "you never forget the codes used by the hacker that put you into prison", they stopped her but green arrow and her broke up even after they were engaged because the green arrow had a son but never told anyone because lack of trust (which will be devastating) she temporarily quit the team, again (the first time was when she lost the ability to walk), but rejoined the team when the black canary was killed (why does Rarity have to die!!
) then, with the help of her father was able to stop damien darkh's plan to destroy the world, by hacking into all the missiles he had in his control (which is every nuke the entire world had)
Shining Armor will probably be John Diggle. he will become Blueblood's first bodyguard and then, later in the 3rd season, become best friends that they're practically brothers, he was the first one Blueblood shares his secret identity with, he was reluctant at first, even quitting his job as Blueblood's bodyguard, but then he joined the team, after learning who killed his brother he asked the arrow to help him hunt him, in season 2 he became head of security at queen consolidated, he then meets his ex-wife and joins her as the co-leader of Task force X, better known as the suicide squad (fun fact: that was the first time the Suicide Squad were filmed in live action, even cooler fun fact Harley Quinn appeared for a few seconds, but whats interesting is that she was played by TARA STRONG
, he then remarries his ex-wife, he felt the team was left out on one of green arrow's greatest and most dangerous plan, then the arrow and him made amends with each other and they became best friends once again, then his wife becomes the leader of A.R.G.U.S. the secret agency the she and and the green arrow used to work for, and then he got a child, and he helped the green arrow save the world, he also got the code name "Spartan"
