I'm not really a fan of these types of stories, but I still find the idea of Sunset being sexually attracted to horses even when she's in human-form to be amusing. I enjoyed the fic.
And yeah, put me in the camp that thinks the "other" is Fluttershy.

I don't really see why so many people didn't like this story I thought it was well written and well done. I look at like this. Sunset Shimmer is a horse from Equestria and thus logically she would be attracted to horses rather than to other people. SO thus unto she would want and need to be with a horse rather than a human female or male. Good story can't wait to see what else you are able to come up with.
