This is nice.
Be it out of malevolent intentions or just poor decisions, the willingness to at least talk to the antagonist should always be there. I think it kinda fits the spirit of this series to hold out hope that even the most utterly unrepentant villains are human too until proven otherwise, not the other way around.

Also: Not sure if ship.

I don't see a need for the romance tag, unless more chapters are added that could lead to it. Otherwise, the random tag will do just fine.

Principal Celestia seems to be doing a better job of talking to her enemies and helping them get better than Princess Celestia did with running away as soon as Discord was unsealed. Then again, I suppose Principal Cinch has nothing on Discord

I have to say, I like how Cinch does an about-face, but the implications of something between the two principals is just .

A nice little story. A bit uncharacteristic of Celestia to be THIS forgiving, especially since Cinch represents everything she isn't and having had no real love for her own students. Still, it is nice to have her be forgiving and change Cinch from a cold person to a better one.

Principal Celestia may not physically raise the sun but she does bring sunshine to people around her

“Go somewhere-Wait. Are you…asking me out?” She abruptly stood up with her hands on her desk. “I’ll have you know I have no interest in ‘chatting’ with you, romantically or otherwise. Why would I want to associate with you at all, after what happened at the games?”

Had to eyeroll a bit at that one Just because someone asks you out just to eat and socialize, does it really have to be taken as a sign of romantic flirting?

Oh, Cinch, I forgive you...for being the WORST VILLAIN ON BOTH THE SHOW AND THE MOVIES.

Seriously. The whole time I was watching the movie I was like, "Oh, it's Dean Hardscrabble from Monsters University, only with NO redeeming qualities. Also, she sounds like Ursula instead of Helen Mirren. Because. Reasons."

*ahem* Anywho...this was pretty good! I like the idea of her maybe being interested in Tia~

Well, it sure was...interesting. Though I wouldn't imagine this to be real. On Cinch's behalf. She is a Tremaine character after all.

With Celestia, I can imagine her forgiving others no matter how vile. Luna, Discord, Sunset. So why can't the principal, her human counterpart, be just as forgiving?
