7055296 I mean. It can... these day's it's remarkably stable. I've seen cars that sat without any new fluid put into them for 20 years fire up no problem, and seen two year old gas in a mower burn fine.
Really, just take a diesel motor. You can run a diesel engine on anything that burns.

The best vehicle I can think of to have after the Apocalypse would be a Lanz Bulldog. They will run on just about any combustible fluid that can be poured into the fuel tank.
