my guess based on the wording (corect me if i am wrong) that after pinkamenia told drex to move on (in her weird pinkie pie way) he ended up marrieing luna...
the family is carying on...

Yea, this story was all about dealing with loss and learning to move on. A very hard lesson that must be learned eventually, especially if you are immortal.
