Just a pony being fabulous. Writer of vignettes, clop, experiments, a great deal of trash and the occasional gem

I  this more than words can express.

That was a fantastic little one-shot. Thanks for sharing.

That was a nice little one shot, I enjoyed it.
Wonderful work on this my friend, wonderful work :yay:

FAVED!

I really liked this. It's... Gentle? Subdued? Feels fulfilling nonetheless?

I'm so sorry. I just can't seem to find the words to express it.
I very much enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.

Meditative. That's the best word to describe this.

This is a very good one-shot, almost like a deep lungful of air, despite it heavily involving cigarette smoke.

Very nice. :)

I love character moments like this. It's all atmosphere with little to no 'action'.

It just feels nice.

Although like Vinyl in this story I loathe cigarettes ((to me they smell nasty) I much prefer the smells of burning firewood and the very infrequent times when I burn a pipeful of aromatic tea leaves.) I found this story to be very mellowing, very calming, like watching snow or rain from inside. Doubly so when combined with listening to the reading of this story by the amazing Obab Scribbler on YouTube.

I never said it was, I was merely saying that just like Vinyl, I don't care for the odor of cigarettes. (and just so you're aware this is not meant to be a heated reply, so just in case it comes across as such.)

 I didn't take it as heated in the slightest dear

I'm glad to hear that. Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend.

Very expressive. Fitting for Octavia

Not what I was expecting! It could have easily fallen into cheap melodrama, but by choosing to focus on quiet character introspection you really elevated the whole thing.

Scribbler brought me to this beautiful piece.

Depending on the law in Equestria... Well, Vinyl, I've never smoked in my life, but I used to come home from DJing in clubs smelling like an ashtray, which I wouldn't notice (when I was single) until I came to wash my clothes, hair and pillow case the next day.

This was very sweet and well done, thank you!
