Daring Do, as most ponies knew, was a legendary adventurer-archeologist who spent her life going to places no sane pony would and recovering artifacts of immense power, all the while combating her archnemesis Ahuizotl and his seemingly endless legions of minions. Everypony also knew that her best-selling books were written by the mysterious, reclusive author named A.K. Yearling. The part nopony knew was that they were, in fact, one and the same pony - and very real.
Therefore, nopony felt bad about making their own additions to the ongoing, increasingly exciting but convoluted storyline. These stories would get posted on fan-based websites (the concepts of "computers" and "Internet" were quickly catching on), where fans would read, rate, review, and write. Daring Do was, at best, mildly aware of this "fanfiction", as it was called. She'd certainly never read any of it.
When she found a free day and decided to check it out, little did she know what she would find...

The only problem I fpund with this was that the description was a bit lengthy and even that is only by my personal preferences. On a whole I really really liked this story. It was an interesting look on fanfiction as a whole and the vatieties thayt different authors pffer. To me this is one of the best satire fics I have read in a long while. You have managed to showcase everything from normal adventure to romanc and datk and that last one was just too much. It was an amazing exploration of how pretty much all fanfiction is. Some of it is good some of it is really bad and se of it is just weird (actually all of it is weird in its own way, but you know what I mean). This could easily describe the majority of fanfics on this site , but it never feels lile it is maliciously mmocking them. Most satires nowadays miss the point pf making fun of something, while still showing respect to it. They are much more focused on maliciously attacking everyrthing they don't like which is kinda why satire today is underappreciated. This to me at least is the very opposote od that and it is the reason why I not lile this work but also respect it. Thank you for the amazing expreience :raritywink: P.s. sorry for the typos. I am writing this on my cellphone

i did a dramatic read on your fan fic

Looks like you found the secret Hentai!
