While I can't say for sure if she let her past colors her world and stay where she is now she will never accomplish anything. If she take a risk on what out there discovered something new like finding lost fillys in the woods or something's like that we will learned some more of how Equestia came to be. I would like to imagine that the three tribe discovered Flutter Valley but been uninhabited for quite long time for some reason maybe only thing that claim their existence is the Tree of Hamony. I haven't watch the much of the g1 only thing I seen was Tirek Grogar Arabus and Lavan episode.
