Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie are small-time janitors with big dreams of becoming Musketeers. When Discord, captain of the Musketeers, points out why they’ll never make it. Rainbow Dash is a little blue coward, Pinkie Pie is a random dumb pony and Twilight Sparkle is an egghead and too short. But things change when Princess Fluttershy demands Musketeer bodyguards when assassins, hired by Discord so he can be king, nearly drop a safe on her. Knowing real Musketeers are too-well trained, Discord hires Twilight, Rainbow, and Pinkie, the lazy janitors as Musketeers and Fluttershy’s bodyguards.

heyyy the story is good
and all ... but i'm a little confused ... our protagonists are males or females, 'cause there is many times that you refer to Rainbow as a male and then as a female 
... the same with Applejack and Twi ... doesn't seem to be a problem with Flutters, Rares or Pinkie... but really this need serious proof-reading (i hope this doesn't look like i'm complaining too much

I was looking for a story like this (since I am writing a Mickey Mouse & Friends adaptation story, most of the cast is what I had in mind except I have Spike as Donald, Rainbow Dash as Mortimer and Applejack sometimes as Horace Horsecollar but she’s mainly random characters)
