Marefriend-in-a-Coma

E

When Princess Celestia is unable to cheer up her mopey little sister, she leaves a copy of her favorite play in Luna's room as a last-ditch effort to ease her melancholy. Luna takes the bait, and reads the story. What comes next is a mad tale of lunacy, obsession, politics, gargoyles, and hypochondria. Will the palace survive Luna's reading session? Will Celestia?

Thanks to William Shakespeare and Miguel de Cervantes for the inspiration. I am sure both of them are currently rolling in their graves.

"All was well in Equestria. At least until the next summer, when Twilight left her copy of A Clockwork Zapapple in the throne room. That, dear reader, is another story altogether."

Get writing then. :V

The very thought of Luna reciting Shakespear with her Royal voice made me laugh.:rainbowlaugh:

Also, I do not think I will document the real horrorshow story of Luna and her moloko, my dear droog.

This is really good. Luna losing her marbles, Celestia's childish side... yeah, this is good :pinkiehappy:

This was pure madness. :pinkiehappy:

Oh yes. It was the result of an Internet outage, four hours of reading Don Quixote and a personal obsession with the works of Shakespeare.:trollestia:

Oh, God.
That was brilliant.
I especially love the connection with Don Quijote, which I just read for class. Anyways, again, excellent job. :D

You made me remember that I read this and liked it. I wonder why I never fav'd it.

*faves it*

Hehe. From the picture, I thought it would be a story about Luna reading the play out loud in the Royal Canterlot Voice, her dramatic reading shattering windows, shaking walls and snapping bones.

Oh good gods, this was surprisingly fun. Of course, now I am interested in Luna turning into Alex DeLarge. :rainbowlaugh: That, or have her watch Caligula. :rainbowlaugh:
