This story is a sequel to Heart of Gold (A Hearts and Hooves Day Special)
It's Hearts and Hooves Day again! Celestia's sun is shining, the birds are singing, and everypony is getting for this happy holiday, especially Golden Flare, who has found love in the most unlikely of ponies: Pinkie Pie. Today is also their one year anniversary and Golden has planned a date night with her to celebrate their love, things couldn't be more perfect.
Except for a little, orange Pegasus filly, who doesn't agree with their relationship, believing that they should be with somepony of their own race. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle believe that she is going off the deep end and that all of her crazy talk is because of the incident last year. Ignoring their accusations, she pushes on to see her plan through.
Will Golden and Pinkie have the best Hearts and Hooves Day ever?
Or will Scootaloo ruin it all for them?

I'm sorry, but I simply can't recommend this work. I mean for starters, you have Scootaloo seriously Out of Character (even if she did have something against Hearts and Hooves day, I'm certain it would not simply grow from that one incident with Big Mac and Cheerilee), you paint her up as being against ponies dating outside their own 'tribe' (which if it isn't a plot point, you shouldn't have painted that picture by including it), and also Scootaloo's whole affair seems slipshod together (not the execution of it, that was a given; but it just seems that her inclusion was thrown in seemed 'last minute addition' if you catch m meaning.)
Don't misunderstand, I like your works (I even liked the original Heart of Gold), even the writing itself was well done, but this work was just... subpar. Just one fan's opinion, for what it is worth.
5644255 Yeah, I kinda figured someone would say something about this, I began writing it on the 13th and I was more or less desperate for a plot, so I went off what was at the top of my head, sorry if this story wasn't as good as the first, maybe next year I'll do better
