Union Absolute

Together forever our twin thesis two,

Sister of day and sister of night,

Bringing golden health and beautiful dream to you,

Diarchs arisen from time long gone and old,

Risen from spirit and freedom of the sky,

Wrought from powers and majesty of magic,

And carved from bones of the world with a joyous cry.

Three races one our twin thesis create,

Years of terrible sorrow and rapturous joy,

Ruler of the day giving way to the night is our fate,

The day shall come again and again shall fade,

Carrying on in strength of our duty and oath,

The tears we have shed and cries for loath,

But we cannot fade until one day far away.

Together sing illuminating mountains,

No darkness above ground shall ever remain,

The sun chases the moon as stars bear audience,

Our children below rejoice in our lights,

Playing in days and dreaming in nights,

We guard them from darkness and evil,

Chasing away the godless and vile enemy.

Move gracefully our holy wolves of the sky,

Giving life to the land below your cities of cloud,

Create machines our majestic hosts of war,

Sparing the lives of your brothers with engines loud,

Shake the world beneath our holy nights of stone,

Making our enemies fall to the ground,

The night and the day watch over you.

By the names of your fathers and by the blood of your sons,

We shall obtain and secure freedom for all,

Our beloved children once foals protected,

Are now standing in honor and glory projected,

Across every land bringing peace and justice to the slave's call.

No more sorrow with oppressors now rejected,

And perhaps one day we shall call none foreign.

Peace is all we desire, but when diplomacy fails,

Our foes will learn it is not our child who, for loss, wails,

By grace, intellect and wisdom shall the future be made.

Soon their foals shall cease their weeping,

When they by their new families hearts are keeping,

And know they have the blessings of both the son and moon,

Foals of enemies gone shall rejoice in this generous boon.

Perhaps one day we shall fade too,

Striding through the gates by holy knights guarded,

Under eternal day guarded by heavenly wolves,

With majestic hosts greeting us all who shall follow.

Eternal joy and praise with harmony divinely rewarded,

And no more shall we weep when we see as we see our children's faces,

Glory be forever reign when done is our twin thesis.

Author's Note:

The Union Absolute, the final part of the two sisters' theses, with parts from our Equestrian Warrior Hymns mixed in as well. We hope to do more poems and hymns in the near future.

6204578 Your comment means a lot. Not only is it one of the more in depth comments we've ever received, but it is also the first we've received for Twin Thesis. We're so glad somebody sees what we're trying to do. Most people, it seems, aren't so interested in poetry, but we keep writing it anyway. If you've enjoyed this, maybe you'd like to check out our other ongoing project: Equestrian Warrior Hymns. Again, thank you for the comment.

This was an excellent work. It was a truly spectacular journey through both day and night and the closing song bears all of their combined might. It truly is a spectacle for everybody who reads it and I am truly glad that it exists. The ending was just as majestic as the previous two showing off the regal twins once more in their absolute light. They're kind, but not naive. Generous, but not to be taken for granted.Diplomatic, but also virtous warriors. Amazing work you guys!:raritystarry:
