As a former high ranking Forerunner Warrior Servant whose career spanned thousands of years, the Ur-Didact has seen many oddities, horrors, anomalies, and other things that defy the imagination of younger beings. However, an unintended passage through a slipspace portal during the attack on New Phoenix and into unknown alien territory may produce sights that even the Didact would find outlandish. Injured and far from familiar surroundings, the Forerunner is in a bad way. To make matters worse, a great evil is rising in this alien world and Didact is about to find himself right in its path.
This story takes place after My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic season 4 and takes place immediately right after Halo 4 ending.

The 100 000 year plot hole of halo is that the forerunners could have used the same tech that they used on the didact to trap him to save themselves from the halo rings, because the last male of a species is always either an asshole or a over protective protagonist, ie, smaug, the doctor, the didact, and so on

I'll give you credit for trying, but unfortunately this is getting a down due the slightly rushed story along with the overused concept of a Halo character coming to Equestria's from some unforeseen evil, the characters not acting how they typically do (mainly the Didact) the Ur-Didact being unrealistically and impracticality becoming a pony and instantly regaing his thoughts to attack after a near death experience. And please John has a real name so please use it more often than with what you did. Now don't get me wrong not trying to discourage you from ever writing again, but please learn from this ok. P.S. The Didact is not a complete and utter @$&whole so it's unlikely for him to attack a unknown alien life form even if he is badly wounded and his head is doing cartwheels.

To be fair he did warn them before they tried to attack them, so they got what was coming to them. Therefore the Didact is blameless, but you do have a point about it being a little rushed, but it's still a good story in concept.
