I decided to check this out of a whim, and I gotta say it really surprised me. The writing was excellent. It got me hooked on a concept that I wasn't really on board with at first.

There is nopony here to wind me.

I don't usually randomly browse like this, but your chapter really surprised me in a good way, and I just thought I'd say so. And, despite this story being 4-ish years old and incomplete, it works decently well as a oneshot.
