A nice start. I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store for Mason.
One thing, though. Sequels are entirely new stories, and shouldn't require the reader to have to go back and read the first one just to make sense of the situation. For instance, his wings. A new reader wouldn't understand if Mason's still human or a pegasus, because you never clarify that. Sure, those who read the first one will know, but that's it. You don't even have to go into detail, just hint at it. Just write as if you never actually published the first one, and that none of us know what happened. You don't even have to do it all at once (in fact it's best if you don't). Just give us info as it's needed.
I have just read the whole story and damn me if this isn't THE best foalcon story I've ever read!

5526145 I think it's more of, girl get's betrayed and falls for the one that was there for her most. Gender probably has nothing to do with it. In fact, one can be straight and still be attracted to someone of the same sex. In those cases, it's the person themselves that they are attracted to, not their gender.

Well possibly, but I can't help but feel that it would be a tad cliche if that was the route taken. More sensible would be For AJ to be one who bats at both wickets, and eventually falls for RD.
