Discord, now reformed, feels like he's being neglected by his new friends during one of the most beloved pony holidays. He decides to retaliate with a teensy tiny bit of chaos.

D'aaaaaaaaw. That was cute. Oddly consistent of Discord to keep going with removing all the decorations, but I guess grinching requires some stubbornness. On the other hand, I think it seems like a pretty good idea that Discord would let his annoyance get out of hand there. He might be reformed, but as the Tirek incident showed, he still has a lot to learn. Like Twilight said.

Really nice little ending there and I can't help but think that the end result was even better for all the ponies. Seeing a city turn from completely dark to completely decorated with lights and holly (and I imagine the ponies kinda go all out) would be a magical sight, no pun intended.

I wonder if you annoyed or overjoyed the Twicord and Fluttercord supporters or made them both happy with that mistletoe.

Well done. Write more!

Happy writing.

Ah. This was a pretty nice little Hearth's Warming Eve tale, with a great characterization of Discord. Great job! I especially like how the lord of chaos had all these assumptions about not being invited by his pony friends, only to learn they had wanted him to come all along.

There were a few small grammar mistakes (they have a way of creeping into even the best story), but the I noticed the most involved commas. Make sure, when you write dialogue, to place the comma inside the quotations (rather than outside them).

Beautiful. Keep it up!

5366987 Thank you : D
And thanks for pointing out the comma issue. In finnish (my native language) the comma goes outside the quotation marks and I just never knew the rules could change for different languages. I fixed it and I'll remember this in the future.

5369251 Sure! Of course, It is pretty interesting to learn you would place commas outside the quotation marks in the Finnish language as well. ^_^
