The Canterlot And Central Territory Railway was founded in 1918 after a government-funded merger of the Appleloosa and Dodge Junction Railway, Canterlot National Railway and Ghastly Gorge Narrow Gauge Railway. The dedicated engines take their passengers and freight to their destinations, come rain or shine. It was their heyday.

But as decades roll by, as steam engines were deemed outdated, the engines find themselves spread thinly as their friends were decommissioned and scrapped. Other railways abandoned steam power in favour of modern, more powerful diesel and electric locomotives. But the engines of the Canterlot And Central Territory Railway are still as dedicated and determined to prove their worth, until the end of time.

Crossover with the Thomas & Friends television series created by Britt Allcroft and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic created by Lauren Faust, both shows belong to their respective owners.

I didn't expect this to be readable (as in I was skeptical of a Thomas/mlp crossover being able to work)

but its too late, I read, I liked! Looking forward to more!

This seems veryyyyyy familiar. I just can't place which stories this pulls from. *serious pondering face*

But nice, it sounds just like an episode of TTTE. Also it seems like it's a series of oneshots like the old show too. I was expecting the first chapter to be Twilight's introduction, and this one to be her first day on the job. (So basically a sequential MLP story).

Keep up the good work though, and feel free to ignore my rambling at the beginning of these comments

My brain is trying to reconcile the differences between how stories work in TTTE and MLP. This *is* a unique crossover, and I've hardly read anything engine based in years. :twilightsheepish:

Kinda refreshing though :rainbowkiss:

Oh whoops, I totally skipped Chapter 1, I mixed up the prologue as chapter 1! Silly me! going back to read it now :fluttershbad:

Now that I've read chapter 1 9after chapter 2 because I'm stupid )...

Good chapter again! *thumbs up*

I wonder what kind of being Discord would be in this world. Would he be a train, or a person? Or maybe something different altogether.

Oh wow, Henry rehashes all over the place.
also I realized that the magic railroad movie and the equestria girls movie would be interesting, in that both movies have characters going from their world to a more "normal" world. Just a random thought.

Its weird being so familiar with the story lines you are parodying XD

you ever think of making a brand new episode of your own from scratch? That'd be interesting to read :)

Ah scruffy. Fitting that he is Discord here :rainbowlaugh:

And Sunset seems awefully nice. Not sure what story her and Trixie are based off of. When I heard two engines I was thinking Bill and Ben, or Donald/Douglas. Trixie sounds like Diesel in an Oliver story, and Sunset sounds like Mavis!

You really are knotting these up really nice! (knotting in a good way! Making connections, like a good crossover should!)

Keep up the good work :raritywink:

I am liking this story, being a fan of the Railway Series it captures the spirit of the books and the Tv show brilliantly. By the way, you might have brought this up already, but are Celestia and Luna ponies or humans, or have you left it for the reader to decide? Can't wait for more

Okay, this blending of FiM & TTTE feels like something out of the 'Sodor: The Early Years/Modern Years' series on YouTube adapted to be using FiM characters for the engines.
I love it!

Interesting line up of locos you got

Is Pinkie Pie a GNR Class J23, or an LNER J23?

5593450 Ah. Thanks for clearing that bit. Btw, I had some episode ideas if you're interested since I'm also a railfan.

This story is awesome!

Why's this story been canceled? I was looking forward to reading more of it.:fluttershysad:

On a technical note, you can hardly blame a Class 14 for being bad at shunting, as they were never built for yard work. They were designed for trip freight.

Fun fact; the Llangollen Railway ran its trains like this for a few years.

If rebooted it would be great
