It's a disaster. I have no idea why peeps make their OCs so bloody strong-colored. Seriously, Rainbow Dash who is the most colorful pony ever pulls it of perfectly, yet nobody can't make their OC look normal with barely two-three colors available on the pony creator.

You know, I honestly understand the aversion to OCs, and especially fanfics centered around them, but now I am not sure if this story is voted down because the author can't write, or people's knee-jerk reaction to the (admittedly unappealing) picture. I must admit feeling a little pitty on the author receiving no constructive criticism or explanation for the down votes.
this story, believe it or not, is not so terrible that you want to rip out your eyeballs. still not that good though the plot, which only occurs in the third chapter, is mildly interesting. nothing is misspelled, and there are no grammar mistakes.
of course, all of the flaws, which prove fatal, are evident in the picture and description. The cover art hurts my eyeballs. and the character's names are absolutely ridiculous. in the story, they are referred to as "bee" and "sky", which isn't as bad. of course, they show no shame in their entirely embarrassing names. the description is really only about the OC's and is completely vague concerning the actual plot. and for a story being "complete" it sure ends abruptly.
the OC's exhibit a couple of mary sue traits, but nothing too unbearable.
Sky- Alicorn, celestia's personal student
Bee- pegasus that is admitted into magic academy. because he's just that smart. also he has bat wings. and he doesn't know his "ancestry" or something.
Anyone who judges a story based on simply the colour scheme of the characters needs a good kick in the teeth.
Seriously, didn't the show teach you not to judge a book by its cover? Admittedly yes, the stallion does have quite strong colours, but I thought we were all here for the stories, not the artwork. And if the artwork bothers you so bloody much, leave. There is no excuse to downvote a story because you dislike the cover.
