Some notes: Although I am part Inupiaq (I even grew up in Barrow, Alaska) I am not a fluent speaker of the native language. So if any linguistic-savvy bronies notice any mistakes in grammar/syntax/etc related to the few phrases and words I throw in to maintain the flavor of the story, please point them out and I'll work on either fixing them, replacing them or removing them. And if you can decode what the various phrases and words mean, then *fistbump* ^_^
Also, this will be slow in updating. In between Ten Years Later (yes, I'm still writing that one :P) and school and landing an internship for the summer, I'll be busy ^_^

this is a good story the plot is great and the chapters are pretty long and interesting keep it up
I'm pretty sure that far north it'd be tuttu, not ponies, and tuttu don't eat meat, so there wouldn't be seal oil either, unless this is like, oil bought from seals. What would ponies or talking tuttu want with misigaaq anyway?
Intersted. Meat eating pony culture should be addressed and elaborated on though.
