In Equestria, there is a special team that is only known by the princesses and 3 members of the Wonderbolts. A small and secret division known as the Specialised Operational Eradication Society (or SOES for short). There is also another special team that is known by the princesses and the captain of the royal guard and that's a secret squadron in the Royal Guard that investigates paranormal activities. Although these two teams do not know each other, both teams use the same special power: A persona, the manifestation of a pony's personality.
The 2 teams were transported to another Equestria in a different world through time and space. There, they meet unfamiliar faces, a clock tower that had never existed in their own, and two ponies who seem to have lost their memories. Determined to return to Equestria, the 2 teams work together in order to solve the mysteries of this world... And to fight for their survival...
This is a crossover of Persona Q Shadow of the Labyrinth. With a few tweaks and turns.

I was waiting to see an Alicorn sitting in front of a table and being referenced to as "a pony with a long nose" before he introduces himself. Then I remembered this was the Persona Q version.
I think you're off to a good start with the cross over. It felt just like the game.
I've been using Minato, Yukari, Naoto, Chie, and Yukino. Named that group "kings game" for humorous reasons. Though I had to swap out Yukino for Yu recently.

I don't have the game but I'd use both the protagonists and use Yukiko (Or akihiko), aigis and Koromaru because I want a challenge.
I'd go with P4's side. It's the first game I ever saw and it holds a special place in my heart.
That and Naoto is awesome.
